Ronn is Managing Director and founder of Market Eye. He has 15 years financial services, capital markets, investment banking and investor relations experience. Ronn has advised a number of listed companies on their investor relations strategies and communications - from micro cap to large cap. Recognised as one of the leading investor relations practitioners in Australasia, he regularly presents on investor relations topics at conferences held by industry and professional associations. Ronn was previously Group Manager, Investor Relations at AXA Asia Pacific Holdings – a top 25 ASX listed company, representing the global AXA Group’s life insurance and wealth management interests in the Asia-Pacific region. Over the four years Ronn was head of investor relations at AXA Asia Pacific, its share price significantly outperformed the overall market and other listed insurerance / wealth management companies. From 2010 to 2012, Ronn was a Non-executive Director of the University Co-operative Bookshop Limited, and Chairman of its Audit, Risk and Corporate Governance Committee. He is actively involved in community, professional and business bodies, was made a Williamson Fellow after graduating from Leadership Victoria's 2006 Williamson Community Leadership Programme, and is currently a School Councillor at his children’s school. Ronn is a Chartered Accountant, Legal Practitioner of the Supreme Court of NSW, Fellow of FINSIA, and completed a Master of Laws (USyd) and Bachelor of Commerce/Laws (UNSW).
Cary has 25 years of industry experience across financial services, equity research, investment banking and corporate advice. He is a former partner and Executive Director of Goldman Sachs JBWere, and was most recently Executive Director, Head of Advisory for Corporate File and Orient Capital. Cary brings a unique perspective to the advice he provides, having been the number 1 ranked financial services research analyst in Australia when in equities research.
Since joining in September 2008, Eric has been a core team member on a number of clients including Tassal, iiNet, Metgasco, Imdex and Runge. Prior to joining Market Eye, Eric was Senior Financial Accountant at AXA Asia Pacific Holdings Limited, and also spent time within AXA Asia Pacific’s Investor Relations department. Eric's involvement in the community has seen him captain the Coburg Tigers VFL team (2005) as well as sitting on various sporting committees. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, and completed a Bachelor of Commerce (LaTrobe).
Ali is a very experienced finance journalist with a passion for finance and business, and loves nothing better than getting her head around financial topics and making them easily understandable. Ali has written for the Australian Financial Review, Sydney Morning Herald, Asset magazine and CFO magazine. Overseas, Ali has written for CEO magazine (UK and US), Finance Director Europe (UK), and Pensions & Investments (US). Some of Ali’s corporate clients have included the Australasian Investor Relations Association, Barclays Global Investors, Goldman Sachs JBWere, Macquarie Bank and ING. Ali holds a Bachelor of Economics (USyd) and a Master of Arts in Communication Management (UTS). She also teaches in the public communication area at the University of Technology Sydney.
Belinda joined in September 2010 as an Analyst. She previously worked at the nab in a retail, customer service and advisory role, and prior to this as a graduate Equities Officer at Westpac for 2 years. Belinda has completed a Bachelor Business, majoring in Economics and Marketing (UTS), and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance.
Kate joined in March 2011 as an Analyst. She previously worked as an analyst in the deal origination team at Primary Capital (private equity firm) in London for over 2 years. Prior to this, Kate was a Senior Consultant at Ernst & Young Transaction Advisory Services for 2.5 years. Kate has completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) / Bachelor of Laws (University of Tasmania), and the EVCA (European Venture Capital Association) Foundation Course for Investment Professionals in Paris.
